Protein Bites
Base Recipe:
30g Whey Isolate (I like Dymatize ISO 100 Birthday Cake)
28g Coconut Flour
32g Peanut butter or nut butter of choice
25g Coconut milk yogurt
10-50g Coconut Milk
Dash of Salt
Stevia or Sugar to taste, Usually 4-16g
Directions:
Mix all ingredients until the batter is thick (if it is crumbly, add in more coconut milk). The batter will be thick and a bit sticky. Coat your hands in coconut flour to roll them into balls easier.
Portion out into desired servings and roll into balls. I store mine in the refrigerator.
Variations:
Use the base recipe for the following flavors and just add in the specific ingredients depending on which flavor that you prefer.
Oatmeal Raisin:
22g Gluten Free Quick Oats
15g Raisins
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Vanilla
(You can also use a cinnamon flavored nut butter)
Brownie:
Use a dark chocolate nut butter instead of regular PB.
5-10g Dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder
15-20g Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
5g Oats
Peanut butter:
Add 1-2 tbsp. of PB2 for an extra strong PB Flavor.
Cake Batter:
Use Dymatize ISO 100 in birthday cake.
Coconut Butter instead of PB.
Add sprinkles and/or butter extract if you want!
