banana peanut butter chocolate chip protein bars.
I created this recipe yesterday, and I love it! I hope that you enjoy it as well!
Ingredients:
10 oz Bananas *Mashed
1 Jar of Baby Food Applesauce
40g Peanut Butter
60g Peanut Butter Powder (Chocolate or Regular PB2)
120g (4 scoops) Whey Isolate - I use About Time
30g Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Morsels
Dash of Salt, Vanilla Extract, and Stevia to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2 Place all of the ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a food processor or mixer and mix until completely smooth.
3 Prepare an 8x8 pan with parchment paper then pour the batter in. (You can coat the pan with oil instead, but parchment paper is easier to clean up.)
4 Evenly distribute the chocolate chips on top or mix them into the batter.
5 Place them in the oven.
6 Bake for 20-25 minutes. They are a bit under cooked, but this will make them yummy later.
7 Let cool in the pan then slice into 6 slices.
Macros per slice: 6F 22C 22P and 4g Fiber, 12g Sugar. (Per 6 bars).
*Macros will vary depending on ingredients.
